How to Install the Cursive Pixel

The Cursive pixel is a small JavaScript snippet that goes in the header of your website. Installation takes under 5 minutes.

Step 1

Log into your Cursive dashboard at app.meetcursive.com.

Step 2

Navigate to Settings then Pixel Installation.

Step 3

Copy the pixel code provided.

Step 4

Paste the code into the header section of your website, before the closing head tag. This is the same location where you would add Google Analytics or Meta Pixel code.

If you use a website builder:

WordPress

Add the code using a header scripts plugin like Insert Headers and Footers, or paste it into your theme's header.php file.

Framer

Go to Site Settings, then Custom Code, then paste in the Head section.

Squarespace

Go to Settings, then Advanced, then Code Injection, then paste in the Header field.

Wix

Go to Settings, then Custom Code, then add to the Head section.

Shopify

Go to Online Store, then Themes, then Edit Code, then paste in theme.liquid before the closing head tag.

GHL (GoHighLevel)

Add the code through the site builder's custom code or tracking section.

Step 5

Verify installation by visiting your website and checking the Pixel Status indicator in your Cursive dashboard. It should show Active within a few minutes.
